Idha Sweden becomes part of Progrits

To further strengthen its service offerings in Transportation & Logistics, the Nordic software group Progrits has acquired the Swedish software company Idha Sweden AB, a leading provider of software for storage and analysis of tachograph data.

Idha, which stands for Intelligent Drivers Hour Analyzer, has been developing a web-based system for storing and evaluating digital tachograph data since 2006. The system, Idha Online, helps companies in the transport sector ensure legal compliance by saving, analyzing, and monitoring driving and rest times for professional drivers. The acquisition of Idha Sweden fits well into Progrits’ strategy of reinforcing its vertical focus areas, in this case, Transportation & Logistics.

“Idha is another welcome addition to the Progrits group, which continues to grow with strong companies to further develop our service offerings for both new and existing customers. Idha Sweden’s market-leading system, combined with their broad expertise in tachograph data, will strengthen some of the Progrits companies’ current offerings, while Idha Sweden will reach more transport and workshop customers through our companies”, comments Björn Ekström, CEO of Progrits.

Idha Sweden currently has most of its customer base in Sweden and now aims to accelerate its growth in Europe.

“With over 15 years of experience in digital tachographs resulting in a market-leading product, we are proud of the journey we have made so far. Becoming part of Progrits is a long-awaited and important step to execute our long-term expansion strategy. We now look forward to getting to know our sister companies, and continuing to support more haulers and workshops in their management of digital tachograph data - both in the Swedish and European markets”, comments Jonas Weiss Sandström, CEO of Idha Sweden AB.

Effective June 13th, 2024, Idha Sweden AB will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary within the Progrits group.
