Netset has appointed Marianne Brandered as Chief Executive Officer to lead Netset’s continued growth and accelerate the company’s international expansion.
Marianne Brandered joins Netset with extensive experience in both the software and retail sectors, having held product leadership roles at Visma and most recently at IKEA. She also brings proven expertise from senior positions in private equity-owned growth companies. Marianne succeeds Sam Aston, who has, in agreement with the board, chosen to step down after two years as CEO.
“Netset is currently experiencing a period of strong development, and the conditions for an equally promising future are well established. As Sam Aston steps down, the board has chosen Marianne as the successor to continue leading Netset into its next phase of growth. With her track record in product-focused companies and international scaling, she is exceptionally prepared for the role. I would also like to express our sincere thanks to Sam for his contributions during a successful period for the company. He leaves Netset with a robust foundation for what lies ahead”, says Björn Ekström, Group CEO of Progrits.
Netset currently employs around 60 people, most of whom are based at the Malmö headquarters.
“What attracted me to Netset is the combination of a strong product and clear potential for further international expansion. I look forward to developing the product offering, creating long-term value for our customers, and positioning Netset as an even stronger competitor in additional markets. With the talented and dedicated team, I am confident that we can achieve great things together. I am also excited about engaging with the Progrits network, supporting and developing each other across the group to become even stronger together”.
